We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to oversee daily administrative operations and lead our dedicated staff. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure our office runs smoothly while supporting the success of our engineering, planning, and surveying projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Oversee and provide essential assistance to management and staff, including scheduling, managing correspondence, and maintaining company records.
- Office Operations: Manage daily office functions, monitor supplies, and ensure a clean, efficient work environment.
- Human Resources: Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee management, ensuring accurate records and supporting payroll processes. Mentor and develop staff to foster a positive work culture.
- Financial Administration: Collaborate with the Regional Vice President and accounting on budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and financial projections to maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Client Relations: Deliver exceptional client service, coordinate client meetings, and support marketing initiatives. Work directly with our Engineers, Planners, Landscape Architects, Land Surveyors, and Technicians to address client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in office management or administrative roles, ideally in engineering, planning, or surveying sectors.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for mentoring and developing staff to support their professional growth.
