Central Dakota Children’s Choir will present their 27th annual Spring Concerts on Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th at 7:00pm at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. The concerts are sponsored by Starion Bank and made possible via funding from Capital City Christmas and ND Council on the Arts. All seats are reserved. Discounted advance tickets available at www.aboutcdcc.org until 3:00 pm on May 15. You may also purchase tickets with cash or check at the CDCC choir office Mon-Thurs 10am-3pm at 921 South 9th St., Suite 115 to avoid ticket fees. Each of the five choirs that compose Central Dakota Children’s Choir will perform on Friday and Saturday. The CDCC Alumni Choir will perform on Friday night. On Saturday CDCC’s pre-choir, Singing for 2nd Graders, and 1st grade music class, Treble Makers, will perform. Formed in 1998, CDCC has grown from one choir of 65 students to five choirs and two elementary music classes. This year, there are over 300 singers in grades 1 - 12 from 44 public, private, and home schools from central North Dakota participating. The choirs perform for more than 12,000 people in the tri-state area each year and have been invited to perform at many local, state, and regional events. The choirs are directed by Teri Fay, Dawn Hagerott, Dr. Dean Jilek, and Jim McMahon and accompanied by Carol Huck, David Larson, and Beth Weiss.
